BA BANGU-BANGU

The Bangu-Bangu are a people of Central Africa settled in the Democratic Republic of Congo. They are found in the territory of Ka-bambare (province of Maniema).

These descendants of "Mubangu" (the strong man) are immersed in the universe of multiple beliefs and believe in Vilgnambi (Su-preme God). When a grandparent dies, grandsons and granddaughters should not cry. The totem animal of the tribe being the Okapi, it is strictly forbidden for this people to consume it.
